We had brunch last Sunday for a party of 6. They got the full lunch menu available. Thank God we had reservation because it was beginning to get full in the main dining and slowly filling up the patio sitting, too. We’ve ordered, Asian Salad, Wagyu steak sliced thinly, Seafood Tower, Lamb Chop, Lobster Rolls, a Burger, and couple of freshly made juices.
IAll the food was amazingly good. Very sumptuous. The steak was grilled to perfection (medium rare). We enjoyed the seafood tower that much. I’m not a big fan of lobsters and crab legs. But, Gee! This was the bomb! It was a little pricey but it’s all worth it! 👌
Service might b a little slower because there were so many guests but we were just chilling while we wait so no problem with us.
I’ll definitely recommend

The view and the chandelier. What a beautiful lovely place. Service was great and couldn't complain. Food was little above ok. Salad was good. Lamb chops was tasty but over cooked as I had wanted med. The fish, Zambinos was delicious but too small. The prosciutto and cheese was delicious as well. The high light actually was the bread; it was perfect.

The food isn't really worth the price, and the service can be pretty slow.
Even with a reservation, expect to take 15 minutes to get seated, 15 minutes to have your order taken, and 15 minutes to get your food (this part was surprisingly not bad.
The king crab roll had maybe one or two legs worth of meat, and overall was nothing special. Not worth the price of $50.
The thin pancakes were surprisingly good, and an okay deal at around $20.
The burrata appetizer was not bad at about $15, though I didn't like how much the bread was burnt.

My friends and I visited this restaurant on Saturday, December 6th at 11:15 AM for a friend’s birthday celebration, a reservation we made two weeks in advance for a group of four We arrived with happy expectations, but several things during our visit left us uncomfortable.
The first table we were guided to had extremely strong sunlight coming from above, making it almost impossible for us to talk comfortably. Since there were many empty tables at that early hour, we asked to be moved and were seated next to an open doorway. It wasn’t ideal, but we didn’t want to spoil the birthday atmosphere, so we accepted it.
A little later, we noticed that the Asian guests who were assigned to our original sunlit table were immediately moved to a more comfortable seat for the same reason we had mentioned. When we looked around, it appeared that most of the less comfortable seats were filled by Asian guests, while the more spacious and comfortable seating areas were mostly occupied by white guests. We did not walk around to inspect every table, and we did see one Asian group among white guests, but the overall pattern was noticeable enough to make us pause and wonder.
During the two hours we were there, the table with strong sunlight remained empty after those guests left. We also noticed several white guests being seated at larger, more comfortable tables even when they arrived as a party of two. We did not take photos of every detail, but it left us with an unsettling feeling.
Additionally, throughout our entire meal, no one checked on us—not once. No one asked whether we were enjoying our food or if we needed anything. Only near the very end did someone briefly say “Happy Birthday” while passing by For a special occasion, this felt disappointing.
We want to emphasize that the restaurant itself is beautiful and the food is excellent. That’s why we chose it for a birthday celebration, and that’s why we are taking the time to write this review. Our intention is not to accuse, but to share what we honestly experienced in the hope that it may help the restaurant provide more consistent service to all guests.

The interior of the restaurant was absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere was lovely. However, unfortunately, the attitude of the waiters and waitresses did not live up to the standards of the restaurant. It didn’t feel like we were being served in a high-end restaurant, and particularly, the waitress who was serving the drinks was quite curt. The table server never came over to check if we needed anything, and overall, the service did not feel friendly or welcoming.

The restaurant is located on the fourth floor of Restoration Hardware (RH) furniture store. Once you arrive, you’ll find a stunning all-glass space—including the roof—with amazing views of the ocean. I visited for lunch, and while the sunlight streaming in created a lovely atmosphere, it did get a bit warm. If you’re dining between noon and 3:00 p.m., I’d recommend bringing sunglasses.
We ordered the truffle fries, artichoke apps, then for lunch chicken cobb sandwich, and king crab roll. Everything was delicious, and I would definitely come back. The service was quite slow, but honestly, the relaxed ambiance made it easy to just slow down and enjoy the experience. Be sure to make a reservation—it’s definitely worth it!

I’ve been to RH three times now, and I really enjoy the atmosphere. It feels both luxurious and relaxing, with beautiful ocean views and a greenhouse-style vibe. Making a reservation can be a bit tricky, and they only allow groups of up to six, so it’s not ideal for larger family gatherings or private parties.
The food is a highlight—my absolute favorites are the caviar lobster roll and the banana split. The lamb is also delicious, and while the salad is fairly simple, it’s fresh and healthy.
The biggest drawback is the service. It’s often slow, it can be difficult to get your server’s attention, and a couple of times my order was mixed up, which meant waiting an extra 20–30 minutes for the correct dish.
Even with those service issues, I’d still come back for the ambiance and the food.

RH Newport Beach is one of my favorite spots. The food is incredible and I love the caviar bites, especially the cones and lobster rolls. The salmon and steak were both cooked perfectly. I had a delightful date with my mom here on a weekday, and I was surprised by how busy it was, even though I had made a reservation a couple of weeks in advance. By the time I left around 2 PM, there were still several people waiting for a table.
The food was standard and not particularly impressive, but the atmosphere and vibe really enhance the experience. I would love to see more food options, perhaps a different seasonal soup, to complement their current menu.
The service was decent, though our food was initially served incorrectly. The server was very nice and offered us complimentary fries and some cookies to take home. Despite the mix-up, the food still didn’t stand out. The highlight of the visit might actually be walking down the stairs from the restaurant, which is on the 4th floor and the showroom on the 3rd to the first floor. Each floor showcases different rooms of a house with RH products, and it’s the best showroom I’ve ever seen.
Overall, it was a nice experience, and I would return more for the atmosphere than the food. It’s worth noting that securing a reservation for weekends is almost impossible, so planning ahead is essential.

Now I understand why people either love or hate this place. At first, I walked in atmosphere and decor were beautiful, The service was OK, I got seated fast and the food came out relatively fast, But when I say I get it, it’s definitely about the portions. Not a single dish comes with a side, They don’t sell bread or focaccia, So after eating a whole grilled lobster and some steak, I still needed to order a side of fries And a Burrata that included some toasts In order to leave the table feeling somewhat full. Basically, he’ll come here for a date or a casual dinner will spend hundreds of dollars and somehow will still leave hungry. But once again, the atmosphere decor and food and itself were actually very enjoyable. I think how much you’ll like this place depends on your tolerance with getting ripped off.

Located on the 5th floor of the store this is a gorgeous setting for an afternoon Brunch! We had a booth facing the window, which can get hot so don't be shy about asking for the sheers to come down.
Sophie was our server and she was attentive without hovering and kind enough to take my minor critique of the breakfast potatoes that were a bit to crispy... the center wasn't soft so I sent them back + plus I had waited for the ketchup and the potatoes got cold.
My Eggs Benedict were tasty, the hollandaise sauce just perfect. Sweet potato fries were yummy too! The Birthday gal had the Lobster Roll and she wiped her plate clean LOL being from New England I have high expectations for Lobster Rolls and at the cost I would've expected some sort of side or edible garnish... alas, there wasn't any.
Butterscotch Creme Brule' was a delightful ending to end our day.
BTW I heard the Cappuccino was perfection too!
There is valet parking directly in front of the store and limited garage parking down by the Nordstrom entrance. I am such a fan of individual restrooms that look like a little room with your own personal door entering each 'stall'.
Respectfully Reviewed.

Eh… it’s all for esthetics and atmosphere.
Let’s get into it.
I’ve heard brunch is much better here.
Which I’ll go to and rate that as well when I do.
However this review is for the dinner.
Upon walking in I was greeted immediately.
The first table I was given was too small and uncomfortable for a party of 3. I asked to be moved and they did that without an issue.
We ordered oysters, sweet potato fries, grilled jumbo shrimp appetizer for starters.
They don’t have ranch. But the rosemary aioli was excellent that came with the fries.
Oysters were very fresh. Served traditionally with lemon and Mignonette sauce. Definitely worth ordering.
Grilled jumbo shrimp.
I started to see a pattern here. Everything is charred.
I mean yes the place is called a grill. However that doesn’t mean everything should be charred/burnt.
Were the shrimp good? Nothing spectacular.
Could make much better at home with little effort.
Main courses.
Salmon
Filet mignon
Burger
The same is cooked medium.
Again noticing a lot of char.
However a good sized portion and seasoned well.
Filet mignon.
Burnt and almost un edible.
Cooked medium rare though. But very charred/burnt on one side. Was going to send this back. But ended up cutting the entire side off that was burnt.
Didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes for food as it was getting late.
Sadly the star of the night was their burger.
The burger is large in portion. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Bread buttery and soft. Lettuce and tomato fresh as can be. This is a must order.
Overall the service was amazing. Water was always filled. Always asked how the food was. And always checked up on in general.
Atmosphere was fantastic. Obviously it’s the scenery/decor here that makes the place. And that’s why people come.
So far though the food hasn’t impressed me.
But as I said I’ll return for brunch and see how that goes and possibly upgrade my review.
With that said would I recommend this place?
Not for dinner no. Unless you just want to go to a cool aesthetically pleasing place to eat in.
There is many other great options in the area.

RH Ocean Grill in Newport Beach is absolutely stunning — from the moment you walk in, the design and ocean views take your breath away. The rooftop setting feels luxurious yet relaxed, perfect for a sunset cocktail or special dinner. The food is good, but the real star is the atmosphere — elegant, coastal, and effortlessly beautiful.
